JEREMIAH MCGUIRE

Attorney

Jeremiah McGuire is an Attorney with Harkavy Shainberg Kaplan PLC, a law firm that is a well respected provider of closing and title services, and escrow services in the greater Memphis, Shelby County, and West Tennessee area. Mr. McGuire handles Residential and Commercial Real Estate closings in Tennessee, Mississippi, and Arkansas.

Attorney McGuire devotes time to furthering the dream and right of all to have fair and affordable housing. He is an active member on many boards and committees that support the local Realtor Association. He also speaks to groups on the benefits of home ownership and how it is achievable for all. 

As an Attorney with HSK, Mr. McGuire is happy to be part of a team with the knowledge, experience, and know how to help you bring your client to the closing table with confidence.

The team at HSK also offers representation in the following areas:

Estate Planning, Probate, and Trust Administration; Corporate and Business Entity Planning; Employment and Labor Law;  Landlord and Tenant Law, Land Use Planning; and Creditor's Rights.

Before joining HSK, he represented buyers and sellers as a closing attorney with a local title company. Prior to that, Mr. McGuire spent 9 years practicing before the local, appellate, and federal courts.

With years of experience working in the real estate and mortgage industry, Jeremiah McGuire has handled matters involving mortgages in every stage from Title and Closing to Bankruptcy, Foreclosure, Collections, and Evictions. His varied experiences across the realms of the mortgage world have provided him with a unique insight into real estate transactions and make him an ideal closing attorney for you and your client.

Mr. McGuire attended undergraduate at Murray State University in Murray, KY.

After graduating with a Marketing degree he came back home to Memphis and worked in advertising for about 5 years before attending law school at The University of Memphis.
